Store Setup β
Everything you need to configure a team store β from name and URL to products and status.
General Settings β
Store Name β
The display name shown in the storefront header and browser tab. Use the full name of the group or event (e.g. "Riverside High School Athletics" or "Spring 2026 Spirit Wear Sale").
Store Web Address (Slug) β
The slug is the URL path used to reach this store. It is auto-generated from the name but can be edited.
https://your-store.myshopify.com/apps/teamiq/your-slugRules:
- Lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only
- Must be unique across all your stores
- Cannot be changed after customers have been given the link (bookmarks and shares will break)
Fulfillment Days β
Sets the default number of business days used to estimate when orders will ship. This is used in the Always Open availability mode to generate an estimated shipping message on the storefront (e.g. "Ships in 5 business days"). See Ordering & Availability for full details.
Fulfillment Label β
Optional. Overrides the auto-generated fulfillment message with custom text of your choice. Leave blank to use the default generated from Fulfillment Days.
Examples:
Ready in 5 business daysShips every FridayAllow 2 weeks for production
Status β
| Status | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Draft | Store is not accessible. Visiting the URL returns a 404. Use this while setting up. |
| Active | Store is live and accessible to anyone with the link. |
| Archived | Store is taken offline. Use this to preserve configuration while pausing a store. |
Don't share the link until Active
A Draft or Archived store shows a "Store Not Found" page to customers. Set to Active only when you're ready.
Collections β
Collections are the primary way to populate a team store with products. Link one or more Shopify collections and all products from those collections will appear on the storefront.
Adding Collections β
- Under Collections, click Browse Collections.
- The Shopify Resource Picker opens β search for and select your collections.
- Click Done.
Reordering Collections β
Drag the β Ώ handle on any collection row to reorder. Products from higher-ranked collections appear before products from lower-ranked collections on the storefront (when no custom product order is set).
Removing a Collection β
Click Remove on the collection row. Products from that collection are removed from the storefront immediately on the next save.
One collection per client
A common setup is to create a dedicated Shopify collection for each team or group, then link that collection to their store. This keeps inventory organized and makes it easy to add/remove products by editing the collection.
Product Tags β
In addition to collections, you can source products by Shopify product tag.
- Type the tag name in the Tag field (e.g.
spring-2026,wildcats). - Click Add Tag or press Enter.
- Products with that tag are included on the storefront alongside collection products.
Tags are useful when you already tag products for a specific client or event and don't want to create a separate collection just for TeamIQ.
Deduplication: If a product belongs to both a linked collection and a matched tag, it only appears once on the storefront.
Product Order β
By default, products appear in collection order. Use the Product Order section to set a custom order:
- After saving at least one collection or tag, open the store's edit page.
- Products from all linked sources load automatically in the Product Order list β each row shows the product thumbnail, name, source (collection name or
#tag), and its current position number. - Drag the β Ώ handle on any row to reorder.
- Click Save.
The drag order is persisted and applied on every storefront load.
New products go to the end
When you add a new product to a linked collection or tag, it automatically appears at the bottom of the product order list. Drag it up to promote it.
Products are loadingβ¦
The product list is fetched from Shopify when the page loads. If a collection was just linked and saved, you may need to reload the store's edit page for the new products to appear in the Product Order list.
Deleting a Store β
On the store's edit page, click Delete in the top action bar.
A confirmation modal will appear β click Delete to permanently remove the store and all its configuration. This cannot be undone.
Customers who visit the storefront URL after deletion will see a "Store Not Found" page.
